About

Stryker Huffman

I’m Stryker Huffman, a hometown guy from North Charleston with a lifelong passion for martial arts. My journey started at age 6 with Taekwondo, where I earned multiple state titles and achieved my first Dan black belt. At 10, I expanded my horizons into freestyle wrestling, quickly finding success that carried all the way through to a high school state championship and runner-up the year prior.

After enjoying a few unhealthy years at the University of South Carolina, I turned my focus to mixed martial arts. I began my training in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu at Unit2 in Atlanta, GA under Professor Roberto Traven, before relocating to Simpsonville, SC to train with Mr. Ray Thompson and his son, Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. Later, I moved back to Charleston, where I trained under local legends BJJ professor Casey Collias and Muay Thai coach Jeff Grady. By the end of my fighting days in mixed martial arts I compiled an amateur record of 7-2 and a professional record of 2-1.

Though my days of competition are behind me, I still love training in all aspects of martial arts. Whether it’s alongside the young bucks or the OGs of the town, I’m always pushing myself to grow and stay connected to the martial arts community.
